PED Promeco Eco Dryer
The Promeco ECO Dryer is designed to reduce the moisture content and compacting various materials.
It can be used to process different materials, such as:
- Recycled polyethylene/polypropylene film from washing lines
- Mix plastics
- Scraps from paper mill pulper waste
Designed to be reliable and versatile, this machine removes moisture (30 to 10% in the case of film material from washing lines), increases the apparent density of the processed material, even up to a factor of 10, and more generally it compacts the treated material.
Operations
Material to process is loaded in the machine from a hopper.
Inside the machine, an auger transports the material and squeezes it, thus compacting and drying it.
The water thus removed leaks from small holes in a grate and is collected below the machine.
In front of the machine is installed on a hydraulic cylinder, which regulates the outlet through which the material passes. This adjustment allows the pressure to increase and maximize the compaction of the output material.
The action of the hydraulic cylinder is controlled by PLC and adjusted according to current absorption by the electric motor.
